Europe Workweek 2023

I recreated the Visual Capitalist visualization using a different approach.

I have used a dataset from Eurostat (2023). The dataset has information of countries info for working hours for last 10 years and the GDP per capita for each countries.

The dashboard is consist of:

Working Hours Analysis:

  • Top Countries with Highest Working Hours: Calculate the average weekly working hours for top five country.

  • Top Five Countries with Lowest Working Hours: Similarly, rank the countries based on their lowest working hours and identify the top five nations with the least hours worked.

GDP per Capita Correlation:

  • Examine the relationship between working hours and GDP per capita. Investigate if there’s a pattern or correlation between high/low working hours and the economic performance (GDP per capita) of these countries.

Comparison of 2023 vs. 2022

Compared the working hours between 2023 and 2022 to identify which countries have maintained stable working hours or experienced a reduction during this period.

Tool Used: Power BI

Report Design: Canva
